AMZ Reviews Exporter · NestifyCraft
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy covers the AMZ Reviews Exporter Chrome extension, published by NestifyCraft (https://nestifycraft.com). It explains what the extension accesses, why it uses that information, where it is stored, and which external services it contacts.
1. Data accessed and used
The extension reads the selected Amazon page after you start collection. It uses the available fields to produce review exports and show progress. Missing fields are not obtained from unrelated websites.
| Data | Purpose and storage |
|---|---|
| Review IDs, author names, ratings, titles, review dates, verified-purchase indicators, product variants, review text, helpful-vote counts and image URLs | Read from accessible Amazon pages to create the export. Saved locally in the extension’s IndexedDB database. A compact progress summary remains in chrome.storage.local so collected results remain available if collection stops. |
| Product title, ASIN, Amazon source URL, pagination position, active tab identifier, export settings and progress | Used locally to control the selected export, avoid duplicate reviews, display status, and resume when supported. |
| License key, activation instance ID, last validation time, validity and expiration status | Stored locally to manage PRO access. The key and the instance ID or activation label are sent directly to Lemon Squeezy for activation, verification or deactivation. |
| Downloaded review files, image archives and copied Markdown | Written to your chosen download location or clipboard only when you request them. Further storage, sharing or pasting is under your control. |
License API responses can contain the purchaser's name and email address. The extension does not persist these fields, customer profiles or payment information; it retains only the license state listed above.
2. External connections and sharing
Amazon
PRO pagination requests additional Amazon review pages, and an image ZIP requests the review images you choose to download. These connections are made from your browser and can use your existing Amazon session. Amazon receives normal request information, such as your IP address and browser information, under its own policies. The extension does not send your Amazon credentials to NestifyCraft or Lemon Squeezy and does not bypass sign-in, CAPTCHAs or access restrictions.
Lemon Squeezy licensing and checkout
Activating PRO sends the license key and an activation label to https://api.lemonsqueezy.com/v1/licenses/activate. Validation sends the key and, when available, the activation instance ID to the public license-validation endpoint. Deactivation sends the key and instance ID to release that activation. Lemon Squeezy also receives ordinary connection information, including your IP address. The extension checks that the response belongs to the configured NestifyCraft store and product.
The Buy PRO control opens the NestifyCraft Lemon Squeezy checkout. Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment, licensing and purchase records under its privacy policy. The extension does not read or store your card details. Review content is never included in license or checkout requests.
AI-analysis text
Copy for AI Analysis prepares a Markdown dataset and an analysis prompt locally and copies them to your clipboard. The extension does not call ChatGPT, Claude or another AI service. If you choose to paste that text into an external service, that service receives the text and its own policies apply.
We do not sell review or license data, use it for advertising, or transfer collected reviews to a NestifyCraft backend. The extension does not include telemetry, advertising SDKs or third-party analytics.
3. Chrome permissions and your choices
- Storage: preserves local reviews, progress, settings and license state.
- Active tab and scripting: read the Amazon tab you select after invoking the extension's toolbar icon. The extension does not request browsing-history access or monitor unrelated websites.
- Side panel: provides collection, export and license controls.
- Optional Amazon site access: is requested for automatic collection in a separate tab, or if the open panel does not have temporary access to the selected marketplace. You can decline the request. Chrome keeps a granted site permission until you revoke it in extension settings or uninstall.
- Optional Lemon Squeezy API access: is requested when needed to activate or manage a PRO license.
- Optional Amazon image-host access: is requested when needed to download an image ZIP, for
m.media-amazon.comandimages-na.ssl-images-amazon.com.
Supported marketplaces are amazon.com, amazon.de, amazon.co.uk, amazon.fr, amazon.es, amazon.it, amazon.pl, amazon.ca and amazon.co.jp. Optional access covers those exact domains, with and without www., rather than all websites. Automatic collection runs in a separate Amazon tab created after you start it; the original tab is read without automated clicks or navigation. Both tabs share the browser’s existing Amazon session and IP address. Passive capture only reads reviews already present on the page and sends no additional review requests.
4. Retention, deletion and license removal
Review results stay in local extension storage until you use Reset / Troubleshoot, start a new export that replaces the session, clear the extension's storage, or uninstall. Download partial results before resetting. Reset clears collected reviews and a stuck collection state while keeping your license. A small local record of request times and access-error pauses is retained separately so resetting review data does not bypass traffic limits; it is removed when extension storage is cleared or the extension is uninstalled.
The separate license-removal control contacts Lemon Squeezy to release the activation. It clears the local license after successful deactivation; if the service cannot be reached, the key is kept so you can retry. License checks are refreshed when needed while using PRO. A recent successful verification can remain usable offline for up to 72 hours, subject to the license's own expiration.
Uninstalling removes Chrome extension storage. It does not delete files already downloaded, copied text, data you pasted elsewhere, or purchase records held by Lemon Squeezy. You control local exported files; Lemon Squeezy handles its own records under its policies.
5. Security and limited use
The extension includes its executable code in the installed package, uses HTTPS for its external connections and does not download or execute remote code. Accessed data is used only for the review-export and license-management features described here. Review exports can contain personal information that authors published on Amazon; you decide how to handle and share these files.
Use of data accessed through Chrome extension permissions follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. This data is not used for advertising, sold, used to determine creditworthiness, or made available for publisher or staff review. See the Chrome Web Store privacy-policy requirements.
6. This policy page
This standalone page does not load scripts, analytics, advertising, external fonts or tracking images. The website host receives ordinary technical request information to deliver the page, including IP addresses and browser request details. Other pages of NestifyCraft and linked third-party services may have their own connections and policies; opening this page does not upload your review exports.
